Oreck XL, it sure sucks...

I use the oreck xl at work for cleaning entrance mats and tile floors. This little vacuum really sucks well. It is very light and easy to maneuver. The bag takes a very long time to fill up also.

The cord is a very good length with no need to use and extension cord in normal circumstances. It transitions very well from hard to soft surfaces and also get the edges and corners very well.

The problems with the little sucker are it could use to be a little wider for my purposes and replacing the bag can be difficult. If you are not careful you can easily rip the bag. The biggest problem I have with this vacuum is there is no hose and attachment for getting stairs, furniture and those stubborn corners.

Prior to the Oreck XL my workplace had a Dyson. The Dyson Vacuum can't hold a flame to the Oreck's suction. The Dyson feels like you are hauling around an M1 Abrams Tank compared to the Oreck. Once again the downside compared other vacuums in this price range is the lack of a hose attachment.

I really love this little sucker and would definitely purchase one for my home.
