Gotta Love The Dyson Vacuum

by Joe
(Chicago, IL)

The Dyson Vacuum continues the tradition of Dyson vacuum cleaners with its Root Cyclone Technology. I did my research on this vacuum and pretty much read all the Dyson reviews that I could find so I know about the suction power! Individual cyclonic chambers increase the power of the airflow, insuring that the vacuum cleaner will continue to work powerfully throughout a job. The Dyson vacuum cleaner features a lifetime HEPA filtration system to help clean dirt, pollen, ragweed, dust mites, and more from the air of your home. The telescoping wand on the Dyson vacuum cleaner has a 17 foot expandable wand allowing easy reach to vacuum ceilings and stairs. The handle extends and retracts easily so storage is a snap. The Dyson has an improved brush roll with stiffer bristles to make it more effective at cleaning carpet. As an added bonus the is reportedly less noisy than the Previous Model.

Likes: It sweeps like the devil! When I first got mine it almost ripped the carpet off the floor. Its really powerful, is lightweight, and doesn't clog. In all I would have to say it's a wonderful sweeper that is well worth the money. It's right up there with Orecks, and Rainbow sweepers. The vacuum cleaner self adjusts for any carpet and floor height and also has the ability to turn off the beater bar when doing a non-carpeted floor. There’s also the additional of a front channel just in front of the beater bar that allows the pick up of larger debris without them having to pass through the beater bar area.

Dislikes: It's all plastic and cheap looking. I haven't had any problems but my mother-in-law's broke after two weeks and she had to take it back. It's expensive as all get out and so are the parts. You HAVE to trim any and all snags in your carpet because it will tangle on stuff other vacuums won’t. I accidentally ran it over the phone cord and the sweeper snapped it in seconds! Be extra careful
